Speedy
Unauthorized Speed
is his formal name, but we call him Speedy or Speedy the Sweetie.
Speedy is about 18 years old. He is a former thoroughbred race horse (OTTB).
Speedy was taken from a dire situation by a nonprofit horse rescue and was in need of immediate medical treatment and proper care, which they provided. Speedy arrived on the farm at the end of August, 2021.
Speedy is very shy but with each day, he is becoming more comfortable and confident. He’s also intrigued by the donkeys and Shadow.
Speedy's diet consists of grains, which we thoroughly soak for all his meals for added hydration. He also gets flakes of hay daily.
In addition to his meals, Speedy is given daily supplements and medicine for pain management, when needed. These are necessary to keep him healthy and comfortable. To keep him happy and smiling, he enjoys German molasses muffins, carrots and cherry vanilla equine treats.
If you’ve fallen in love with Speedy as much as we have and you would like to sponsor him, you will help to provide food, medical care and routine health and wellness checkups.

Elsa
Elsa joined our sanctuary with a lifetime of experiences, a soft spirit, and a reputation for being one of the sweetest mares around. We’re honored to provide her with a peaceful, comfortable home where she can enjoy her well-earned retirement.
In addition to her riding accomplishments, Elsa spent many years giving pony rides for family, friends, neighbors, and children at birthday parties hosted at a farm she once lived at.
Her gentle personality made her a favorite everywhere she went, and she quickly became known as a patient, people-loving horse who enjoys greeting everyone who crosses her path.

Little Shadow
Little Shadow is our adorable, mid-teen mini horse. He came to us with Faith, our newest donkey rescue. He is easy-going and enjoys walking around the neighborhood. Though it is tough to resist his sweet face, we must be mindful of how many treats he gets. He spends his days hanging out with the donkeys and his big buddy, Blue.
Shadow 's diet consists of minimal grain and hay.
In addition to his meals, Shadow is given daily supplements. These are necessary to keep him healthy and comfortable. To keep him happy and smiling, he enjoys his finely chopped celery and occasionally, a German molasses muffins.

Zayden
Fiesty Zayden came to us in April of 2025. He quickly became the alpha male on the farm, however, that role was fairly short lived. With the arrival of Big Shadow and Honey in August 2025, Zayden took a back seat.
He is still full of spunk and when you get to know him, he's a real sweetheart. He loves to run and boy is he fast.
He used to dominate the snack table but now he sits in the field waiting for you to toss him something yummy.
Please consider becoming a monthly sponsor to help feed and provide care for him. He'll quickly become your friend for life!!!!!

Big Shadow
Big Shadow, no relation to Little Shadow other than they are both wonderful horses.
Big Shadow and Honey joined the sanctuary in August of 2025. They came from a loving family that needed to place them in a safe, loving sanctuary to call home. They are incredibly bonded as they've been together their whole lives.
After a little time we introduced them to their new family. They quickly adjusted but became the new patriarchs of the snack table.
Big Shadow goes at every snack like it's his first. He's very sweet at heart but a little clumsy trying to get food from you.
He'll quickly come to the gate to greet you when you arrive and hope you have a good treat for him.
Please consider sponsoring him or any of our animals. Any food or financial donations you provide will ensure they have nutritious meals and the best care possible.

Lolo
Lolo arrived to the farm in November 2025.
Lolo excelled in jumping. It was time for him to take it easy after an injury, so we were asked to take him in. We were contacted with messages thanking us for welcoming him to our sanctuary.
Former leasers, and what appears to be his very own fan club, reached out. He is a big, handsome boy who settled in nicely and has taken a liking to Elsa. He also took it upon himself to move Speedy out of his stall so he could have the biggest room at the inn.

Theo
Theo arrived at the farm in May of 2024. He's the largest goat on the farm and likes to flex his muscles at snack time.
He's quick to greet visitors with his endless enthusiasm.

William
William is president elect of the farm. He greets all the new animals and spends most of his time checking to see that everyone is behaving. He likes to be the center of attention and will let you know (with his horns) if you are not spending enough time with him.

Cornelius
William’s brother Cornelius spends his days lounging in the sun and chasing the other goats! He is a stunning goat and can be very mischievous.

Annabel
Annabel came to us in Oct 2022. Two very special people (Hayden and Jamie) saved her life! She had been running loose in our community with another goat for a while and no one could get them.
Annabel burst out of the woods one afternoon right into the hands of Hayden. He was able to bring her home where they cared for her. Jamie reached out knowing Annabel could use a forever home with some goat friends.
Hayden and Annabelle have a very special bond. It’s like Annabelle knew he saved her life.
Unfortunately, Annabelle has a disease that requires her to be separated from the other Goats. Her new roommates are Pirate Francis and Snow White our new Silkies.

Tito
Tito arrived at the farm in Oct 2024. We first met Tito and his twin Tonic at an auction, and the thought of them being separated was too heartbreaking—so home with us they came, together. Shortly after the same owner offered us another set of twins but only one made it (Gin) along with another goat (Bucky).
Now Tito, Tonic, and Gin are a spunky, silly trio who love to run, leap, and climb on absolutely everything. They’re mischievous, full of personality, and make our days brighter with all their goofy antics.
